Well, this is personally one of my fav movies Johnny has done and I think all the performances were great etc etc.

However, there was one major flaw and I did happen to chat this over with Amanda last night when I was watching it but...

What the hell did they do to my poor Johnny's hair?? I can't stand it. I know I'm not alone, right?

Miss Clairol, according to Johnny.

I think it makes him look very young and innocent, very much in tune with the character Gilbert.

LOL

I agree with that assessment but...it changes shades throughout the movie...lol When it's that darker color red or whatever, I don't so much mind it. It's when it's that...I don't know...bright, goofy red, that it really bothers me.

Maybe, it was just the lighting.

lol

(from that article)

Is marriage your ideal?

Yeah, that is certainly the ideal situation. I wouldn’t do it in this town, though. Ideally I’d have a big chunk of land somewhere, not necessarily in this country, maybe in France or something. A wife, kids, a dog, some chickens, a pig, a mule . . . But there is still this part of me that can’t sit around in one spot.

Funny how things turn out, eh?

And hmm, I really cannot imagine Gilbert without his hair the way it is. And I agree with what you say Merlot
