I love Benny & Joon, I think it is an adorable film. Sam is so sweet. I love the part where Joon is helping Sam paint, and they nearly kiss, it is so cute

I love the singing balloon...
And the mailbox... he's just so cute and innocent! And wow... the park scene... it was so natural.
I wonder if Johnny does little magic tricks with his kids like that.

He really is amazing... so sensitive to Joon...
I love his tree... I have a friend that called me while he was sitting in a tree.... and he's never seen the movie!!
I told him he was my Sam.... but he didn't get it. Oh well.

I love the part when Sam is trying to get into the Hospital through the window, hanging on a rope
And what I love about the whole film, is the gentle plea for accepting "different" people.
This plea runs through Johnny's work like a red thread; but in Benny and Joon I think it is particularly touching.

Like... telling Benny to be nice to Sam, or telling Sam to becareful?
I find myself doing that alot. But then again... i'm a little weird sometimes...

YES...lol..I was watching this with my patients at work tonight(yes, I carry my movies to work with me ..I am hopeless and I admit it.. ) and the part where Sam shows up at the hospital and Benny grabs him around the collar like he's going to hit him..I say.. Benny..Get your hands off my Sammie!.. LMAo ..the other staff looked at me like I'd lost my mind...  Sam is so adorable.. love him to pieces!

I adore this movie! Sam is such a sweetheart. The kind of guy who would do anything for you and you don't even have to ask. I just want to run up and give him a very big hug!
I love the part where they ran an errand and Joon showed Benny those two fish named Stephen and Steven.. LOL And the look sam gives when he shows Benny the movie.. LOL This movie is the best!

I love Benny and Joon I smile everytime I watch it Sam is my favorite character out of all of them but don't think I don't love all of Johnnys characters Sam is just so sweet and loving :bounce:

hahaha dont worry I went to Ireland in the summer and i took my whole collection with me you know just in case. and i didnt even take my DVD player because i've lost my charger haha. Luckily though for a couple of nights we stayed at my mum's friends' place and we watched Benny and Joon. and then I watched Cry Baby and some 21 jump street
I don't talk to it but i talk along with it.. and all my other movies haha
